meet the instructors

​Eric Cormier - Pitching, Hitting Fielding

Drafted by Boston Red Sox in 26th Round (730th overall) of 1992 amateur entry draft.

Coach Cormier was a former pitcher in the Boston Red Sox organization and local Milford High School stand-out in Baseball and Basketball. In 1992, Eric was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 26th round of the amateur entry draft. As an 18 year old senior about to embark on every boy’s childhood dream – to become a major league baseball player.

After 4 years of hard work and dedication he made his way through several levels in the minor leagues with MVP honors, but sustained an arm injury that forced him to retire from baseball. Eric has been providing baseball instruction to children through private lessons and clinics passing on his knowledge from his baseball career.

Eric’s ultimate goal is to continue providing baseball instruction and assistance to young children and high school athletes in their endeavors to become skillful baseball players, learning the true spirit of the game and in life.







Bob Sannicandro - Master Hitting and Fielding

Coach Sannicandro is Inside Corner Baseball's lead hitting instructor, and is also the head coach for the 12U Inside Corner Coyotes fall team. After playing high school baseball at Ashland High School, Bob Sannicandro was a four-year varsity baseball player at Framingham State College as both an infielder and outfielder (1972-1976). He continued playing at the semi-pro level in the Stan Musial League until 1988. Bob began his teaching and coaching career at Marian High School where he succeeded Bill Fulginite as head coach.

He returned to Framingham State College in 1982 as head coach of the Rams until leaving that post for Boston College in 1988. While at BC, Bob served as the primary hitting instructor and infield coach until returning to Marian High in 1992. His Marian teams won nine straight league championships and reached state tournament sectional final and semi-final games. After leaving Marian, Bob became the varsity coach at Keefe Technical School in Framingham where his teams qualified for the state tournament each year.

Throughout the years, Bob has also been an instructor at many baseball camps/ clinics across the Northeast. He left coaching in 2002 to complete his Master's Degree in Secondary Education at Worcester State College (2003), since 2005 he has been working with ball players in the Framingham/Natick area.






Chris Currie - Hitting, Catching and Fielding

Coach Currie joins the staff at Inside Corner baseball with over 15 years of experience coaching baseball, all the way from little league to high school. Chris graduated from Marian High School in Framingham, MA in 1988 where he was a Co-Captain of the baseball team. He played his collegiate baseball at Salem State University in Salem, MA where he was a catcher and infielder. He has been an active participant and coach in the Uxbridge Little League and has been the coach for the Uxbridge Ripken 10U, 11U and 12U teams, where his son has participated. Chris has a passion for baseball, specifically the catching position and conducts various catcher clinics around the Central Massachusetts area. He currently plays in two adult baseball leagues; the BABL for the Somerville Alibrandis organization, and the Metro West ABL for the Framingham Orioles, where he serves as League President. Chris looks forward to bringing his knowledge of the game, as well as his passion and hard work ethic to the staff at Inside Corner Baseball.







Zoë Haley - Softball Pitching and HItting

Going into her Sophomore year at Worcester State, Zoe plans to take the field as the starting pitcher. Bellingham was the Division II State Champions. Zoe began the year as a relief pitcher and worked her way into the starting line-up opening day as the starting third baseman. She also started 5 games pitching her way to a 5-0 record for the Hawks.

She currently plays for RI Fire N’Ice coached by Rob Traverse. In past seasons she played for the RI Thunder coached by Ken Moretti coming in 9th place at the ASA Eastern Nationals in Sterling, VA.(2011) For the next two years she played for RI Lightning.

Currently Zoe is being recruited for colleges where she can continue to play softball at a high level and continue her education academically in the study of biomedical engineering.

Off the field she works hard to make the corrections she needs to perform at the collegiate level. Things such as maintaining athletic endurance though fitness and proper nutrition to perform at the top of her game.  Zoe pitches more than 3 times a week and practices with her club team weekly while caring for her younger brother Ryan.







Scott Ross - Hitting and Fielding

Coach Ross is a Head Coach for the Inside Corner Baseball Fall team, the Coyotes, and teaches various clinics at the facility. He brings his vast coaching and playing baseball experience, knowledge, incredible love for the great game of baseball, and expertise to Inside Corner Baseball.  Specializing in fielding and hitting, Scott also brings his desire and passion to improve the ability of all baseball players of all ages.

Growing up in Milford, Scott was a stand-out in baseball, played on many All Star teams, and played on the Milford High School Team.  He also brings over 10 years of coaching experience to the Inside Corner Baseball staff.  Scott has been a Head Coach for his two sons on many youth baseball teams in Franklin, coached the Franklin Sizzler All Star Team in Hopkinton, and been a Head Coach for many youth flag football and basketball teams in Franklin.








Coach Pat Redmond - Hitting, Fielding, Pitching and Catching


Coach Redmond comes to us from Worcester, MA. A former College, High School and Middle School coach, bringing a great desire to educate young players in the fundamentals and execution of the game. 
 
Prior to coming to Inside Corner, Coach Redmond has worked with Frozen Ropes in Natick where he worked primarily with hitters. Coach also worked an Assistant at Nichols College in Dudley, MA where his primary responsibility was with the catchers as well as recruiting in the Central Massachusetts area.
